All the services were exceptional. Booked a room with excellent views over the valley and Agua Calientes. The food was fresh and there were lots of dishes in the menu. Location: the hotel was just next door to the train station and the Mercado.

Reasonably spacious rooms with the balcony, an amazing view of the mountains around Aguas Calientes, a huge bed, courteous staff. Marvellous and incredible location, right next to Winay Wayna.

The hotel property was wonderful with particularly good location not far from waterfalls from the river below, the river below, and the downtown area. The breakfast was generous: breads, cereals, pancakes, fruit and eggs were excellent.

We loved the location of this hotel! Being at the top of a hill provided us with a wonderful view of the surrounding area. The free shuttle service and tours/ticket assistance were incredibly helpful. Our room was cozy and had everything we needed, from the mini-bar to the electric kettle. Additionally, the staff was very accommodating and the continental breakfast was satisfying.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

We were completely satisfied with our double room that had a panoramic view. The hotel is conveniently located just a couple of blocks away from Anka Restaurant, which offers nice drinks and cocktails.

Clean rooms with fantastic bathroom. Staff is nice and helpful. Great location away from train and traffic noise. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. Good deal for the price.

Hotel staffs are friendly and very helpfull. Breakfast spread had varities of items and very clean. If I ever go back to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu) I would surely stay at Hotel Taypikala Machupicchu.

Few fly like insects were in the room initially but later we did not find any.

We had asked for a wake up call at 4:30 to be able to eat breakfast at 5 to ensure we were in line early for the bus to Machupicchu. Fortunately, we used our phone alarm as a back up or we would have missed our "once in a lifetime" early viewing of mp. In addition, the staff didnt have the breakfast ready at 5. For travelers, its very important to get to the bus as early as possible, so we chose not to wait. Bathrooms in the lobby had no running water. There are much better choices in Aguascalientes for better value priced hotels.

We loved staying at this hotel because of its fantastic location in a quiet part of town, close to many great restaurants. The hotel rooms were always incredibly clean and furnished to a high standard. We were impressed with the great transportation options available and appreciated the staff's helpfulness, especially when they stored our luggage while we visited top tourist sites. Also, we had a wonderful complimentary breakfast early enough on to catch sunrise at the nearby destination.

Nothing was perfect - everything was great!
